Nokia C5-05 Symbian 5th Edition Phone with 2 Megapixel Camera

Nokia has just introduced two phones at once released the Nokia C5-05 and Nokia C5-06. Both have similar features. But for now we just want to give a brief preview for Nokia C5-05 only. As for Nokia C5-06 will be discussed in future articles.

Nokia C5-05 is a Symbian based phone that has a body made of stainless steel. The design is very simple measuring 105.8 x 51 x 103.8 mm and weighs 93 grams makes this phone look very classic. Plus more familiar with the keypad that makes the user very comfortable in typing.

For the operating system used, the Nokia C5-05 uses the Symbian S60 5th edition operating system. Nokia does not use the latest update Symbian Belle as the operating system on this phone like a brother of the Nokia 600,  Nokia 700 , Nokia 701, and Nokia 603. For several reasons why, maybe Nokia wants to cut funding of production and thus the price of the Nokia C5-05.

Besides using the processor speed is 600MHz processor with 256MB of RAM. Of course this is very small when compared with smartphone rivals. While the existing ROM on this phone is 256MB. The screen on the Nokia C5-05 is a resistive touch screen measuring 3.2 inch 360x640 pixel resolution.

One disadvantage of this phone is the absence of 3G network on this phone. Nokia C5-05 still use the 2G network GSM (800/900/1800/1900 MHz). In addition to the network, other shortcomings are located on the side of the camera. Behind the Nokia C5-05 contains a 2MP camera. Size must be very small if you have to compete with other smartphones. But again the price has become the main reason. And Nokia C5-05 apparently one of the market strategy that Nokia is not losing market share.
